Who runs this jackpot guide, and how it checks things

Jackpot Marquee is a small, independent guide to one corner of Springbok Casino: the progressive jackpots in its lobby. It is not run by Springbok. The site itself is the author of every page; there are no bylines because there is no star reviewer here, only a checking routine anyone can repeat.

What the hall covers

Our whole beat is the lobby's Progressives tab: which titles are in it, how each pot is triggered, what a spin or a hand costs, how the opt-in Lobby Jackpot works and how the shared Caribbean side bet pays. Anything outside that, such as general reviews, banking or account help, is left to other guides.

We cover those topics because a jackpot game is easy to misread. The meter is loud and the rules are quiet, so the cards in the jackpot hall put the quiet part first.

How a fact gets onto a card

  1. Read it at the source

Game details come from the tile descriptions in Springbok's logged-out lobby; rules come from Springbok's terms and conditions and promotions page; anything only found in Springbok's articles or press releases is marked as Springbok's own claim.

  2. Record it with a date

Each fact goes into a register with its source address, the date it was read and a status: verified, Springbok says, or pages disagree.

  3. Render it, never retype it

Pages pull figures and codes from that register, so a change is made once and every card, table and code box follows. Status chips beside a fact link to the page it came from.

  4. Show the conflicts

When two Springbok pages disagree we say so and name both, instead of quietly picking the friendlier number.

Every page ends with its sources and the date they were last read. If a Springbok page changes after that date, the change wins over our wording until we catch up.

What we will not publish

  • Jackpot amounts. The meters move by the minute, so a printed figure is stale on arrival.
  • Winners, winner feeds or win stories. We have none to verify, and a list of wins says nothing useful about your next spin.
  • Ratings, scores or stars. A card of facts is more useful than a number we would have to invent.
  • Hints that a jackpot is close to paying. Nothing on the meter tells anyone that.
  • Codes that have expired, or codes we have not seen on Springbok's own pages.

Spotted something out of date?

Springbok renames games, rotates offers and edits its terms. If a card no longer matches the lobby, write to hello@springbokcasinos.net with the page and what you saw. We check it against Springbok's pages and change the register if you are right.

How the site pays for itself is explained on our affiliate disclosure page, and the help lines are always on the responsible play page.
