Megasaur slot: three jackpot tiers, medium swing

Megasaur is a dinosaur-themed slot in Springbok's Progressives tab with three network jackpots: Mega, Major and Minor. The lobby lists 25 fixed paylines and medium volatility, and says the jackpots are symbol driven, so a combination on the reels wins them. Its tiers are live in the lobby only.

How the Megasaur jackpots trigger

The lobby tile describes the jackpot as a network progressive (Mega, Major, Minor), symbol driven. Unpacked, that is three pooled pots, each tied to a symbol result on the reels. The names suggest the order, Mega above Major above Minor, but the tile gives no starting values or sizes, and the three meters are shown live only in the lobby.

Which combination pays which tier is not on the lobby tile. It is in Megasaur's pay table inside the game, and that screen is the only reliable source. Nothing in the lobby data suggests a tier lands at random.

Win-Win and Feature Guarantee II: named, not explained

The fourth line on Megasaur's tile reads Win-Win and Feature Guarantee II. Those are the game's own feature names. The lobby does not describe what either does, and Springbok's pages we checked do not either, so we are not going to invent a description from the names.

If the features matter to your decision, open the game's help screens before staking anything; they explain each feature in the developer's own words.

Megasaur volatility compared with the other jackpot slots

Here is what makes Megasaur different in the hall. Of the five jackpot slots whose tiles we have recorded, it is the only one rated medium. The rest are high, and Aztec's Millions goes one step further.

Jackpot Cleopatra's Gold Deluxe and Shopping Spree II have no specs recorded yet, so they are left out.

Medium volatility usually means smaller wins arriving more often than on a high-volatility game, which tends to make a balance last longer between big moments. It does not change the jackpot odds, and the lobby publishes no return-to-player figure for Megasaur.

A plain explanation of the term: slot volatility explained.

What a Megasaur spin costs

The lobby lists 25 fixed paylines. Fixed lines mean you cannot switch any off to cut the cost: every spin pays for every line. The tile says nothing about the stake, so open the bet panel and read the smallest and largest spin before you deposit.

If you have joined Springbok's Lobby Jackpot, each spin also carries its R0.08 add-on. Over a session that adds up like this:

Lobby Jackpot add-on across Megasaur sessions
Session lengthAdd-on paidYour line stake
250 spinsR20.00Extra, set in the game
750 spinsR60.00Extra, set in the game
2,000 spinsR160.00Extra, set in the game

The add-on is optional and only applies once you have opted in. Per-spin cost from Springbok's terms.

On a medium-volatility game played at a low stake, that fixed add-on is a bigger share of each spin than it would be on a high-stake session. The Lobby Jackpot explainer covers how its wins are paid and what Springbok does not publish about it.

Megasaur and Springbok's bonus wagering

Megasaur is a slot, so it counts toward bonus wagering under Springbok's terms unless a specific offer excludes it. Verified · 9 October 2026 Volatility does not change the wagering target; it only changes how the balance moves on the way.

On Megasaur the practical question is the cap. Three jackpot tiers tempt a bigger stake, but while the bonus runs no spin may go above R100. Verified · 9 October 2026 The welcome code itself goes into the cashier before you pay in Verified · 9 October 2026, and the poker tables add nothing to the target. Everything else about mixing a bonus with the progressives is gathered in one place in the jackpot hall.

Finding Megasaur in Springbok's lobby

Megasaur sits in both the Progressives and Slots tabs and has been in the lobby since 18 August 2014. The lobby files it under an internal label rather than naming a studio, so we do not name one either. Springbok says the lobby runs in a phone or desktop browser on one account.
