Caribbean poker progressive jackpot: one coin, three tables
Springbok's Caribbean Stud, Caribbean Draw and Caribbean Hold'Em tables share one progressive jackpot, fed by an optional coin you add to a hand. A royal flush wins the pot and a straight flush pays 10% of it; lower hands pay fixed amounts. Play these tables without a bonus: they do not count toward wagering.

Play the Caribbean tables with no bonus running
Start here, because it is the rule that costs people money. Springbok's terms list the games that count toward bonus wagering: all slots, plus Keno, Scratch Cards and a handful of others. None of the Caribbean poker tables is on that list. Verified · 9 October 2026
The same clause says bets on excluded games placed before wagering is complete void the bonus and its winnings. So a hand of Caribbean Stud with a deposit bonus still open is not a cheap detour; it can cancel the bonus.
Not the same game
The wagering list names 7 Stud Poker. That is a different game from Caribbean Stud, and its name on the list does not bring the Caribbean tables with it.
The clean route is simple: finish or forfeit any bonus first, then sit down with your own money. That is why this page carries no code, and why the jackpot slots in the jackpot hall are where the welcome match belongs.
Caribbean Stud, Draw and Hold'Em: the three tables
All three are dealt from a single deck and take R1–R100 per round, according to Springbok's article on its table games. They differ in how your five-card hand is formed and in what the dealer needs to qualify.

Qualifiers and house edges are operator figures from Springbok's table-games article, which says they come from the in-game rules panels. The article does not give an edge for the jackpot coin.
The qualifier matters to the main game, not the jackpot. What a hand pays when the dealer fails to qualify is in each table's help panel; our register does not record it, so we will not repeat it from memory. Springbok's article does not say either whether the coin pays when the dealer misses, so check the panel before your first hand.
The Caribbean progressive side bet: how the coin works (Stud, Draw and Hold'Em)
The jackpot is a side bet, not part of the ante. Before a hand you may add one coin; if you do not, the hand plays exactly as normal and has no claim on the pot. Springbok calls the coin optional, and the meter is shared, so a coin placed at any of the three tables feeds the same jackpot.
The coin's value is shown at the table rather than in Springbok's articles, so we cannot print it here. Look at it before you decide, and count it as part of each hand's cost, because it is staked every time you tick it, win or lose.
Caribbean side bet payouts: fixed amounts and the live pot
Only the top two hands are tied to the meter. The rest pay a fixed rand amount, so their value is the same whether the jackpot is small or has been climbing for months.

Springbok caps everything paid out on one round at R400,000. Figures from Springbok's table-games article, checked 9 October 2026.
Two things follow from the table. First, the coin only does something on a flush or better; anything below that is a lost coin. Second, a growing meter changes only the top two rows. The fixed rows read the same on a quiet day and a busy one.
How rare is the top? For a plain five-card deal from one deck, which is how Caribbean Stud hands you your cards, 4 of the 2,598,960 possible hands are royal flushes, and 36 more are other straight flushes. That is general card arithmetic, not a Springbok figure. Draw lets you replace cards and Hold'Em builds your best five from more cards, so their odds differ, and Springbok publishes none for either.
The round cap and what it means for a big meter
Springbok's article caps a single round at R400,000. That is a limit on what one round can pay in total.
The article does not explain how the cap meets a jackpot meter that has climbed past it, or whether the jackpot portion is treated separately. We are not going to guess on a point that decides how much a royal flush pays. If the live meter in the lobby is above the cap, ask Springbok's support how a win would be paid before you play for it.
Before you sit down: a short routine
1
Clear the bonus question
No deposit bonus or cashback still being wagered. If one is, finish it on slots first.
2
Read the help panel
Check the coin value, the no-qualify rule and whether the coin pays when the dealer misses.
3
Price the coin
Multiply the coin by the hands you expect to play, then add it to the ante and raise you already budget for.
4
Set the stop point
Decide when you leave before the first hand. The meter will still be there tomorrow.

What is the Caribbean poker progressive jackpot at Springbok?
A side jackpot shared by Caribbean Stud, Caribbean Draw and Caribbean Hold'Em. You add an optional coin to a hand; a royal flush wins the pot and a straight flush pays 10% of it, according to Springbok.
How much does a straight flush pay on the side bet?
10% of the progressive jackpot at the time, per Springbok's article. Four of a kind pays R500, a full house R100 and a flush R75.
Do Caribbean poker bets count toward bonus wagering?
No. The tables are not on the list of games in Springbok's terms that count, and betting on excluded games while a bonus is being wagered can void the bonus and its winnings.
Is there a limit on what one round can pay?
Springbok's article caps a single round at R400,000. It does not say how that interacts with a meter above the cap, so ask support before playing for the jackpot.
How much is the jackpot coin?
The coin value is shown at the table; Springbok's articles do not state it. It is optional on every hand.
